To enable greater collaboration and hands-on client service, RDG+Partners has completed construction to expand its office space by 30 percent. The addition follows the January merger of RDHB CPAs and Kroner Gamble & Company CPA, P.C., which brought the combined accounting firm’s headcount to nearly 40.
“The merger brought together the complementary strengths of both firms, and has allowed us to take our ‘ideas’ approach to client service to the next level,” said John Rizzo, co-managing partner, RDG+Partners. “The additional office space provides us the opportunity to more adequately accommodate our team and the clients we serve.”
The Pittsford-based, boutique accounting firm completed a larger renovation and expansion in 2017, for which it purchased a neighboring property that included the space for the current expansion. This portion of the property was previously occupied by a tenant. When the lease expired earlier this year, RDG+Partners made the decision to leverage the additional square footage. The firm partnered with Hamilton Stern Construction to combine and refresh the office space that now houses the firm’s audit team. The project took three months.
“From the very beginning of the merger, we have focused on integrating our teams and our processes—growing our firm in order to further support the growth of our clients’ businesses,” said Chris Gamble, co-managing partner, RDG+Partners. “Now, our office reflects that.”
